Occupational Therapy @ Marvel

Occupational therapy is a cornerstone of Marvel Child Development Center, designed to empower children to develop essential life skills and reach their highest level of independence. Marvel's occupational therapists work with children facing sensory processing disorders, motor skill deficits, and physical disabilities to achieve the following goals:

Fine and Gross Motor Skills: Occupational therapists guide children in improving fine motor skills required for tasks such as writing and self-care, as well as gross motor skills for activities like running and climbing.

Sensory Integration: Children with sensory processing challenges benefit from occupational therapy that helps them regulate their sensory responses effectively.

Self-Care: Occupational therapy promotes self-sufficiency by teaching children the skills needed for dressing, bathing, toileting, and other daily tasks.

Play and Social Engagement: Marvel's occupational therapists foster play and social interactions, enabling children to engage with peers and their environment with confidence.
